Trustworthy Nutrition Tips & Expert Training Advice
Do super-sets build muscle and give you ripped gains?
I think super-sets are burning me out. An advanced guy at my gym says they are a must for ripped gains. Says I need to "toughen up buttercup". Is he right?
He's wrong. Super-sets are NOT very effective for muscle building, or getting ripped for the matter. The best way to stimulate muscular gains is to work limited sets to failure around the 4-8 rep range. Super-sets have you doing a set of one exercise and then immediately moving to others without any rest. It's basically one exhaustive high-rep set.
Your exhaustion is fatigue, not the stimulus for muscle growth. Proper cardio and diet is what's key to getting a "ripped" physique. Burn It Up helps, too.

When will SYNTHAGEN be back?
I should have stocked up when you said so, but now I'm totally out of Synthagen and realize just how much of a difference it makes. When is it returning? Please, put me in for a pro-pack shipped next day air soon as it arrives.
Not to make light, but we've gotten some crazy dollar offers from a couple people thinking we've got a secret stash hidden. We don't, unfortunately. Reserve orders will be accepted soon, so watch here for updates.
We reached out to Lab Manager Matthew, and he said "We're awaiting Orotic Acid that meets NSF standards. Everything else is in place, including the smart active Synthagen capsules John Drake worked with Health Caps to create".
Ah-ha! Remember Anabolan EVO being strongly upgraded last year, where even the capsule itself is an active ingredient? John confirmed something really impressive like that is coming with the new batch of Synthagen.
Also, note some teasers on SYNTHAGEN.com
That's all we've got for now. Stay tuned!
Peak Protein
I finally bought some of your MASS PRO protein to supplement my protein intake, especially directly after workouts. I can see why it's popular, but my question is how much total protein (including foods) should I be ingesting daily?
Short answer, 2 grams per pound of bodyweight, give or take a little bit.
You are smart taking MASS PRO immediately after workouts. Doing so primes muscle building and recovery. It's been called "The Golden Window", and can really up your gains fast. Also, first thing in the morning is optimal, too. Soon as your feet hit the floor. Smoothies, between meals, and as needed to augment protein foods while shooting for 2 grams per pound of bodyweight daily.

"As a coach I get asked a lot of questions about supplements. For years I have said Mass Pro Whey is the best on the market. Until recently I didn't have a pre-workout I was 100% behind. Not anymore. Burn it Up's new formula is on point. Amazing energy. The boost in focus and energy is quick and sustained, and NO CRASH afterwards. I have already started suggesting it to clients that need to up their workouts, manage cravings, and get a solid healthy boost."
